Class Assignment

English 101
1. I feel confident in asking question when i have them to help me better understand thing, then when writing i know what I'm writing about and when reading i don't get confused.
2. I understand that inquiry can be visual as in looking up what you don't know or want to know and it can be verbal as in asking someone questions to find something out or understand it.
3. If you are unsure that the audience might get confused or question what you are talking about in the paper, then go ahead and elaborate on it in case.
4. In a way to argue someone has to question what you have written.
5. The revision process and reviewing papers can help become a better writer.
6. I feel that i am almost able to get all the information that i need and bring it together to write a good paper.
7. I feel confident in being able to work well with others
8. I feel i need to work on researching for more information that i need and asking questions
9. I take responsibility for my own work and if i didn't do the research i need to do, then its my own fault.

Course Content & Format
1. When i am reading something and don't understand something i do ask questions.
2. We have went over many different writing in class
3. Write thought brainstorming, writing, editing, and revising to do the best that you can do.
4. When writing a paper it takes more then one draft and should have many people edit and revise the paper.
5. To organize ideas for a paper an outline is a good way to set the paper up .
6. I have written different papers and edit and revise them to get them ready for the writing portfolio.

FALL BREAK!!

It feels so good to be home! Fall break needs to be just a little bit longer though because i need a break from school. After last week though i feel fine. Mid-terms are over and i don't feel so stressed anymore, everything is done. At least for a week or so because then i have a couple more papers due. Its like all professors think we are just taking their class and they expect us to spend all of our time on things for their class. I mean we do take other classes besides theirs. I mean i don't procrastinate and i still don't have enough time to do everything they expect us to do.

Letter to the Editor!

My topic for the letter to the editor is going to be about how parking enforcements should not be so strict. My roommate parked in the parking garage during the week for like 4 hours (which yeah your not allowed to do) and got 4 tickets. You would think that one would be enough or maybe even a warning at first. Four tickets for one incident is not necessary.

Thats right BSU beat IU! The game was a blast but now back at ball state im exhausted. Im glad to be back. On the way down and on the way back i stopped by my house to see my brothers and my mom. Now that im back i have a bunch of homework to do including english and chemistry. Thats what im going to do now! =[

Its almost Friday. Just one more day then im going to IU. Im going down Friday for the game Saturday and coming back early Sunday with my friend Francesca. On the way down i am going to stop by my house to get a few things. I cant wait. It seems like im eaither going home or im away some where on the weekends and hardly ever stay here. I end up going home a lot because of doctors appointments and then while im home i just go ahead and work to get a little bit of money. I have so much to do before this weekend but once its here hopefully it will be a blast!

My significant object

BRAINSTORMING

After doing some thinking i decided my significant object is the American flag. Until awhile go i don't think this is what i would have picked. Recently my dad was sent to Iraq this year with the army. I respect my dad so much for doing what he is doing. Men and women like him are the reason we have our flag that stands for the freedom that they fight for. It means and stands for so many things but is just small and simple. I now notice just how many places display our American Flag with pride -Fire station, schools, government offices, banks, businesses, and so many residents. Some people don't appreciate the flag like they should and unfortunate. Hopefully there will be a day again when people honor the flag like they used to.
